Volunteers

Becoming a volunteer at KARI is a rewarding and unique opportunity. Working within an organisation like KARI means you get to see just how valuable your community is. Volunteering at KARI requires dedication and an open mind, to connect with the people around you. Becoming a volunteer at KARI is ultimately a satisfying and worthwhile experience to better the lives of the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal members of your community.

KARI has been undertaking programs and services for over a decade now. These programs and services rely upon the hard work of all KARI staff. However, they are also significantly strengthened and improved through the involvement of our community volunteers. We rely on volunteers to assist us in ensuring that each program initiative provides the young participants with a unique and comprehensive program experience.

Volunteers are the key to ensuring that our programs are well supervised and really hit the mark with participants. They are a vital aspect of ensuring quality program delivery. All volunteers go through a comprehensive induction process and receive the training that they need to ensure that they have the skills they need to actively participate in all programs.
